The International Office for Economic Development of the state capital Magdeburg is the contact point for all overseas companies that want to invest in Magdeburg as a business location. Together with the team for location support, the companies are individually looked after from the first contact. The free all-round service includes the provision of important key data on the business location and investment opportunities, information meetings, assistance in the search for a suitable site and support during the start-up phase.

The International Office is also responsible for international location marketing and the promotion and maintenance of international networks. It forms the interface between the city administration and EU funding programmes and projects.
