The scenic setting of the Böckelmannscher Park is particularly due to stately old trees, the fountain and lake as well as the large rubble wall which stretches around the park area.
Solitary trees were planted at strategic places to create depth, perspective and colour compositions. Among the many beautiful trees are colourful ash-leaved maples, copper beeches and organically grown gingko trees. Every turn along the winding paths offers a new scenic view.
In addition, a former orchard and vegetable garden had been included in the park as well as a large garden house with playground and well house.
